A fundraiser held over the weekend to raise money for the family of a missing Vanderhoof girl brought in over 70 thousand dollars. Local resident, Brian Frenkel, hosted the event that also aimed at bringing awareness of Madison Scott’s disappearance. “Two hundred and fifty people attended the event, there was a waiting list of over a hundred to get it. It just shows that small communities get together and support each other. On Saturday, it was day 133 since she disappeared and they are still looking

. ” Meanwhile, the investigation continues into the search for the 20 year old, who was last seen on May 28th at Hogsback Lake. Recently, the Scott family increased the reward to up to twenty five thousand dollars to help find her and is asking anyone with information to contact the Vanderhoof RCMP immediately at (250) 567-2222 or Crime Stoppers.
