Such a sad day
We have held onto hope for 12 long years that Maddy would be found alive. Now we know she is truly missing from our lives.
Maddy we miss you!
Her presence brightened and warmed the world, now the air is colder, the sky has darkened, sadness fills me, tears well in my eyes. It is so wrong she is no longer with us. My thoughts go to Eldon and Dawn. We are here to support you in anyway we can. Just know so so many people are thinking of you and Maddy, and grieving with you, on your unfathomable loss.

Will be made a little more bearable knowing she’s found. My heart goes out to them, as they mourn the confirmation of this devastating loss. I just found out today about Maddie. My heart aches for Dawn and Eldon, Ben and Georgia, cousins, family and friends. I’ve been following for many years and I’m so heartbroken for everyone who knew her and loved her so much. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Always thinking of you Dawn

My heart is really hurting for the family of Madison (Maddy). I have followed this case from the beginning and hoped she would be brought home where she belongs with her parents and siblings ♥️

The death of Madison Scott is another sombre reminder that there are terrible monsters preying on so many innocent people, near the Highway of Tears. Hopefully the RCMP, provincial politicians, and especially federal MPs, will allocate more resources to solving the murder of this young woman and other victims who were sadly forgotten, over the years.
For too many years, the BC government has neglected the safety of those who live in rural BC and residents have had to rely on friends, family, & even strangers for the most basic of needs: transportation. Truly a shame that it took over 30 years for the bus service to be regular along Highway 16.
This case might be the catalyst for the RCMP to thoroughly search the rural property they are currently investigating, as many former & current residents along the Highway of Tears know, the Jack family case & Nicole Hoar case have never been solved.
May her family and friends find strength in each other to cope with the loss of Madison, and the community, as a whole, find closure and renewed hope in seeing justice be served, one day. RIP Madison.
