Sandra-Wayne K. > Get ready for the poker ride…

Get your quads filled up with gas, your horse groomed and saddled up and your walking shoes dusted off because the Poker Ride is about to happen! Get ready to FIND MADDY! We are going “all in for Maddy” this weekend and you don’t have to play poker to do it. You just hit the trails to look and see; if that is what you prefer, and there is no cost to participate if you choose not to buy a poker hand

. Poker hands are available, of course, for those who want to play. Your first hand is $25 (which includes lunch) and a second hand is $10. There are many great prizes to be won! For those of you who are not buying a hand, lunch is available to you for $10. It’s going to be a goodie. Your eyes, your ears, your sensibilities is what Team Maddy is hoping for… to help bring her home. So rev those engines, get in the saddle or stretch those legs and “let’s get on the trail to FIND MADDY”. A big shout out of THANKS to all participants and those who have donated to this event. We couldn’t manage without any of you. ♥ MGS ♥ Continue reading »

Sandra-Wayne K. > “Let’s go all in to FIND MADDY!”

Wow, the trails are impressive and ready for the anniversary poker ride event taking place this coming Saturday, May 26, at Hogsback Lake.

The amazing quad trail is a fun ride and takes about 2 hours. The picturesque horseback trail features a longer loop and a shorter loop (4 hours or less). The serene walking trail has a more adventurous version or you can stick to the road in parts for a less challenging version (3 hours or less). All three trails have spectacular views and feature forest and open areas. Each trail is well marked and there will be volunteers to help direct people.

Hats off to all of the Team Maddy members who have sweated and muscled their way through the brush to open up or refurbish these trails. We are so grateful to the participants this coming weekend who will take a fresh look at these trails and the area and hopefully notice something of significance that will help bring Maddy home.

Note: This is an awareness event and not a fundraiser. There will be prizes awarded, as is usual at these types of events

. Hope you win something. We hope we get Maddy home. Thank you! See you out there!

Whats happening with finding Madison?

While there has not been much information in the media the police are still actively working on the case.  Eldon and Dawn have a good relationship with the RCMP, and report the the RCMP are still actively investigating leads and following up on tasks and information.

The family has put up more large signs through out the interior of BC in the Vanderhoof, Ft. St. James, and Prince George area. There are smaller posters posted in a lot of locations in the area and across B.C. and else where

. Stick on posters small and large are on many vehicles in the Vanderhoof and Prince George areas. The Facebook group has a good following with ongoing  comments and discussions. Lets keep Madison’s disappearance active as much as possible, spread the word to as many people you can, keep posting posters and think of any other ideas to keep this going.

A huge thanks to the incredible number of people and businesses who have given so much time, energy, money, words of support in the quest to find Madison Scott.

I made the following collage for using as a Facebook cover image:
