She was reported missing on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Vanderhoof RCMP and search and rescue teams from Vanderhoof, Prince George, Burns Lake and Fort St. James conducted extensive air, water and ground searches on Sunday and Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The area is a former forestry campsite, which also has a parking lot and boat launch area, and is popular with locals.<\/p>\n<p>The physical search was called off Tuesday but the police investigation continues.<\/p>\n<p>Scott\u2019s brother, Ben, said family members were out searching with volunteers \u2014 more than 150 searched the shorelines, trails and the logging roads \u2014 and have been distributing posters.<\/p>\n<p>The family also set up an account to collect donations toward the air searches that were conducted. The account number is 80234286 and contributions can be made at any credit union.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s obviously been a tough time for our whole family but [we] are just astounded with all of the support we have received from friends, family and members of our community,\u201d he said in an email.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are keeping our hopes high and remain optimistic that we will find her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ben said everyone is missing his sister: \u201cShe is a special person that has impacted many people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scott is Caucasian, five-foot-four, 170 pounds with ginger hair. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jean capris.<\/p>\n<p>She was driving an off-white early 1990s model F-150 pickup and had a two-tone blue tent \u2014 both were left behind.<\/p>\n<p>Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area on the weekend or attended the parties on Friday or Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is important that we determine what happened that night, what her plans were for Saturday and the rest of the weekend,\u201d RCMP spokesman Sgt. Rob Vermeulen said. \u201cWe have conducted some interviews, but it is important that we speak to anyone and everyone who will help piece together the bigger picture<\/p>\n<p>.
